Asking for help is a sign of strength.

Experiencing trauma can feel paralyzing, which makes reaching out for help a challenge. The good news is you don’t need to be able to put words or labels on your struggles. I can join you on your journey and we’ll build a supportive relationship to help you heal, achieve your goals, and thrive.

My Approach

Woman reading

I help you create a sense of calm, find clarity in your emotions, and gain control by first understanding where you feel stuck or overwhelmed and figuring out what is happening emotionally.

I tailor my sessions to meet the unique needs of each of my clients—from discussing symptoms to exploring potential causes of these occurrences. These sessions aim to help women develop an awareness of their thought processes and behaviors and learn and practice coping mechanisms to enhance their resilience and feel empowered.

First, we will schedule a phone consultation to discuss your needs and determine if we’re a good fit.

In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and develop an appropriate plan of action.

We will continue working through your struggles together and help you cultivate an amazing life!

I encourage collaboration and shared decision-making, empowering patients to regain control over their lives.

TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE

I recognize trauma's impact on individuals and create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment for patients, prioritizing their well-being and ensuring all interactions are sensitive and attuned to their unique experiences.

CULTURALLY COMPETENT PRACTICE

Recognizing and respecting the diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences of the women I serve allows me to tailor my interventions to be culturally competent, promoting inclusivity and acknowledging the influence of cultural factors on trauma recovery.

STRENGTHS-BASED PERSPECTIVE

Focusing on identifying and building upon the strengths and resilience of each patient helps them recognize their inherent capabilities.
